Doha: Speaker of the Shura Council H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met yesterday with member of Parliament for North East Hampshire H E Ranil Jayawardena, and Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom H E Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, who are currently visiting the Country.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics pertaining to the promotion of the cooperation relations between Qatar and United Kingdom in the parliamentary field.
The British parliamentarians expressed their great admiration for the renaissance and progress the State of Qatar is witnessing in various fields, praising the distinguished organization of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The meeting was attended by several members of the Shura Council.
