Delhi shivers as mercury dips

New Delhi: Delhi shivered Monday as the maximum temperature fell three notches below average to 19.1 degrees Celsius.
Fog is back in the national capital with visibility dropping to 100 metres around 8.30am, an official from the India Meteorological Department said.
A statement from Delhi Airport Authority Ltd said 18 flights to Delhi were diverted.
The minimum temperature early yesterday morning was 7.7 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year.
Similar weather conditions are expected today, with maximum and minimum temperature to be around 19 and 7 degrees Celsius respectively. IANS
