Doha: The 14th meeting of the GCC committee for environment awareness yesterday discussed recommendations of its last convention on the environmental awareness in the Gulf states.
The meeting, organised by the Ministry of Environment, discussedviews and remarks of the committee members on the 6th Youth Environmental Forum that was held earlier this summer in Bahrain, in addition to the necessary steps to achieve the committee’s five-year plan 2015-2020.
Doha: The Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Advisory Council held a meeting yesterday under its Rapporteur Nasser Rashid Seraye Al Kaabi.
The Committee studied a draft law on chemical weapons and decided to invite representatives of the Cabinet General Secretariat to listen to the Secretariat’s opinion on the draft law. QNA
