DOHA: A guidance and education team from the Ministry of Labour visited 25 private companies, mainly companies that have thousands of workers.
The visit programme was launched in November with the aim of raising awareness among foreign workers about the labour law and makes them meet their responsibilities, and benefit from the services provided by the ministry.
The ministry is keen to innovate ways to communicate with different companies and the team will resume its visits to more private companies, said Saleh Ali Al Khaledi, head of the Guidance team.
During the meeting with the concerned workers, the team introduced different types of services promoted by the ministry and how they could benefit saving time and effort, he added.
The team also answered questions from the employees, gave suggestions to their problems. The Peninsula
