Doha: As the National Sports Day is approaching, an opportunity is being offered to all interested organisations to be a part of this event by booking a place in the Al Refaa Street for activities.
Private organisations can book spaces at the popular venue by filling out the form available on the National Sports Day website, http://www.sportday.qa.
Individual and team registrations for sport activities can be done through the same page.
By filling out the form and indicating their preferred location and the list of activities, all private companies can become part of National Sports Day that is increasingly attracting large crowds.
The website also provides details such as individual programmes of local sport clubs, sport federations and public organisations.
The day is celebrated every second Tuesday of February and is an initiative adopted by H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent.
Across the country, ministries, government departments, public and private sector organisations and sports clubs will be organising sporting activities for all.
