Doha: Qatar delegates, led by Major General Dr Abdullah Yousf Al Maal, the Legal Adviser of the Minister of the Interior and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference, participated in the Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Meeting of the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (UNCCPJ) held in Bangkok from January 22 to 24.
The meeting discussed topics of the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which will be hosted by Doha in April. A special seminar was organised by the Institute of Thailand for Justice, between Qatar and Thailand on the preparations for the conference. It discussed preparations for the conference, as well as the experience Thailand that hosted the 11th conference in 2005.
