DOHA: Ezdan Holding Group, one of Qatar’s leading listed companies, honoured around 70 of its 1,000-personnel nominated as Best Employees of the Year, at an annual celebration.
Present at the ceremony were Ali Mohammad Al Obaidli, CEO, Ezdan Holding Group, Al Abdullah, Deputy to CEO, Ezdan, and managers and employees of the Group and its subsidiaries, said a statement yesterday.
The event featured a competition for employees, two videos — one on Ezdan’s achievements in 2014 and the other ‘Proud to be Ezdanian!’ and a collective commemorative photo with the winning employees.
Following a nomination and selection process, 70 employees from various departments of the group were recognised for efforts throughout a year.
The ceremony was part of an initiative of the Group to encourage staff and promote their skills through a healthy competitive medium. In the ‘Proud to be Ezdanian!’ video, several employees expressed pride of being a member of the broader Ezdan, reflecting its image in their lives and its efforts to ensure the well-being of staff.
Al Obaidli praised employees’ efforts and how their contributions enhanced the Group’s financial, administrative and organisational performances.
