Qapco honours top students

Doha: Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco) honoured six of its students for exemplary academic performance.
They achieved ‘honours’ standing in Spring Semester 2014 at College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q). In addition to a letter of recognition, the college transcript will display ‘honours standing’ notation.
Five achieved honours standing in chemical processing technology and one in business administration accounting.
Qapco’s Learning & Development Department hosted a ceremony to reward their efforts and dedication.
Dr Mohammed Yousef Al Mulla, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Qapco, said, “It is important to us that all our development and scholarship students work hard and perform to the best of their ability.
“We, in partnership with CNA-Q and other educational institutes in Qatar and abroad, offer our support and commitment so that our students can achieve their dreams of earning a degree or diploma and build  better futures for themselves, their families and our community.
Mubarak Abdulla Al Eidan, one of the students, said, “Qapco’s support and encouragement allowed us to continue education and enabled us to learn skills and knowledge to equip ourselves with competencies to become professional engineers and business professionals in the future.”
