Doha: Vodafone Qatar reported a net loss of QR285.7m for the nine-month financial period ending December 31, 2015 compared to net loss of QR149.8m for the same period in 2014.
The loss per share for this nine-month period is QR0.34.
The telecom operator's mobile customers increased 6% to 1.5 million, a record high. Its total revenue of QR1,603m is a drop by 8% compared to the same period in 2014.
Mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) dropped to QR110, a 12% decline year-on year reduction. The company reported an Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) of QR343m for the period; 19% lower year-on-year, representing an EBITDA margin of 21%.
