Doha: The 73rd Republic Day of India was marked at the Embassy of India in Doha today, with great fervor and enthusiasm.
Dr Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to Qatar hoisted the National Flag at the Embassy premises followed by the national anthem.
The President of India’s address was read out by the Ambassador, which was followed by cultural performances which included patriotic songs and folk dances from Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Assam performed by the community members.
The event was held in a hybrid format with simultaneous live streaming online on social media handles and on You Tube Channel of the Embassy for attending the event virtually.
Ambassador appreciated the commendable role played by Indian community in Qatar in various sectors. Ambassador also interacted with Indian community representatives and Apex body Heads.
