Vienna: Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) H E Gerd Muller received the credentials of H E Jassim bin Yacoub Al Hammadi as Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UNIDO.
On this occasion, the Director-General of the UNIDO praised the existing cooperation between Qatar and the organisation, especially Qatar’s constant support for the organisation’s various programmes and projects to ensure the achievement of sustainable development goals at the global level.
The Permanent Representative of Qatar stressed the significant role played by the UNIDO in achieving industrial development, especially in developing countries, affirming Qatar’s keenness to support the organisation’s efforts in facing global development challenges.
