Doha, Qatar: With the attendance of hundreds, the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a series of value-based lectures for the Ethiopian community.

The lectures were delivered by one of the Center’s guest preachers, with total attendance reaching 900 people across three lectures. The topics addressed various aspects of Muslim life. These activities come within the Center’s commitment to hosting distinguished preachers with impactful presence and a comprehensive approach in their discourse. The guest preacher, Nuro Turki, delivered three lectures focusing on dutifulness to parents, the path to Paradise, and working for the Hereafter. In the first lecture, he discussed the value of honouring one’s parents and its impact on an individual’s life, their relationship with Allah, and its significance for the family and society.

This lecture was attended by 500 people at the Center’s lecture hall.

He also spoke about the path to Paradise, which begins with correcting one’s beliefs and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah Almighty.

This lecture was held at Khalid bin Al-Walid Mosque (may Allah be pleased with him) in New Al-Rayyan and was attended by more than 200 people. At the same mosque, the preacher delivered a third lecture to an audience exceeding 200 people on working for the Hereafter, urging worshippers to keep the Hereafter in mind in all their actions, as it represents the true life towards which humanity ultimately strives.
