DOHA: Qatar Exchange will be closed March 2 due to the official holiday that banks and financial institutions observe every first Sunday of March.
"This is in compliance with the Council of Ministers' Resolution no. (33) of 2009, to observe the first Sunday of March every year as an official holiday," a QE notification said Wednesday.
Qatar Central Bank, banks, financial institutions regulated by Qatar Central Bank and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA), and Qatar Exchange observed this day as an official holiday.
Trading on QE will resume March 03, 2014. (QNA)
