MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines and France on Thursday strengthened bilateral relations with the signing of cooperation agreements.
The signing of the agreements on cooperation in tourism, development, health and education were witnessed by President Benigno Aquino III and French President Francois Hollande in Malacañang.
Transportation and infrastructure deals were also signed between Philippine and French companies such as the expansion of the Light Rail Transit and Subic-Clark-Tarlac expressway.
Hollande is in the Philippines for a two-day state visit. He and Aquino held a bilateral meeting earlier.
