Doha: Ooredoo has launched a competition and invited all women in Qatar to submit a story about an inspirational woman who made a difference in their lives, as part of its annual celebration of women’s achievements.
The theme of the contest and the celebration is ‘Sheroes’ — female heroes. Participants will have to submit their stories via womeninfocus@ooredoo.qa and the top three will receive prizes and will be the subject of a special event on March 9. Entries must be no more than 200 words and should be about a particular woman and the role they have played in people’s lives. All entries must be submitted by March 7.
