DOHA: Adel Abdul Rahman Al Mannai, Board Member, Qatar Chamber yesterday received Jorge Costa Oliveira, Secretary of State, Portugal who was heading Portuguese delegation.
During the meeting both sides discussed bilateral economic issues and ways to increase cooperation in various sectors. The Portuguese Ambassador to Qatar, Antonio Tanger was also present in the meeting.
Oliveira said Qatar and Portugal have excellent relations and the aim of the visit to Qatar Chamber yesterday was to further strengthen bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries.
He said Portugal enjoys stability and is bestowed with natural beauty which makes it attractive destination for tourist across the globe. He invited Qatar Chamber to organise visit of Qatari delegation comprising businessmen and investors to explore investment opportunities.The Peninsula
