DOHA: Birla Public School (BPS) distributed the Hall Tickets to the XII Board Examination entrants for the year 2018, in an auspicious ceremony, recently.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Chairman Lukose Chacko; Directors Dr Mohan Thomas and C V Rappai; life-time member, Narayanan, school authorities, parents, teachers and well- wishers.
The programme began with the school prayer rendered by Malavika of XII which was followed by the lighting of the lamp by all the invited guests.
Class representatives from all sections of XII grades addressed the audience conveying their inspiring memories and gratitude to all academic and non- academic facilitators of the school and followed by the distribution of the Hall Tickets to all the students. An inspiring message was given by VP Radhika Rele. The highlight of the programme was the pious ceremony, “Passing the Light”, where the teachers lit the candles held by students, to the accompaniment of Prayer melodies.
It was followed by a special prayer rendered by the Sr VP Shirly Rappai, who had earlier initiated the candle ceremony.
The Chief Guest and the Principal addressed, encouraged and blessed the students and their future endeavours.
The programme concluded with a motivational speech given by the Head of the Department, Vasantha Mareth.
