Doha: FOSA Qatar, the alumni association of the Farook College in Kerala, has elected the office- bearers for the years 2020-2021, a press release said.
They are: Asker Rahman Vengat, president; Ajmal Backer, General Secretary and Saheer Purakkad, treasurer. Subair VP and Adv Noushad will serve as vice presidents while Shumaiz and Noushad Payyoli as secretaries.
A 29-member executive committee was also formed. Subcommittees will be taken care of by Riyas Babu (arts), Shamim Vavad (sports), CP Ashraf (public relations), Hafeesulla (social), Afthab (events) and Shameer Koyappathodi (welfare).
Adv Iqbal chaired the meeting while Askar welcomed the gathering and Ajmal expressed the vote of thanks. Rasheed Ahmed performed as a returning officer.
The release said a ladies wing of the organisation will be formed soon.
