Doha: Poland’s Iga Swiatek cruised past Anett Kontaveit of Estonia 6-2, 6-0 to win the Qatar TotalEnergies Open title at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha.

The victory also secured the World No. 8 her first title of the season, also her second career WTA 1000 title.

In a commanding display of all-court mastery, Swiatek won the final 10 games of the match to clinch the title - her fourth WTA singles crown in style, snapping Kontaveit's nine-match winning streak.
