DOHA: The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development hosted Algeria’s Premier Abdelmalek Sellal yesterday.
A welcoming panel led by Rashed Al Qurese, Qatar Foundation’s Deputy Director of Communication, received Sellal and his delegation at the Qatar Foundation Visitors Center.
The delegation included Mourad Medelci, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mustapha Benbada, Minister of Commerce, and Abdul Fattah Ziani, Ambassador to Qatar. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Humaidi, Qatari Ambassador to Algeria, accompanied the delegation.
The Algerian representatives, who are in Doha to attend the 24th session of the Arab League summit, listened to a presentation on the vision and mission of Qatar Foundation.
They were also introduced to educational initiatives, community development plans and scientific research programmes undertaken by Qatar Foundation.
