Aquino signs law resetting SK polls to October 2016

MANILA, Philippines - President Benigno Aquino III has signed the law postponing anew the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections.

Aquino signed on Wednesday Republic Act 10656 which synchronizes the SK polls with the holding of the barangay elections on the last Monday of October 2016.

The SK elections were initially set for October 28, 2013 before Congress reset it to this year.
