Baghdad: The Iraqi army managed on Sunday to reclaim four neighborhoods of western Mosul from ISIS, according to military sources.
"The Iraqi army’s anti-terrorism forces liberated the two neighborhoods of Wadi al-Ain and Rajm al-Hadid, in the western part of the city," Iraqi Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Yarallah said in an statement broadcasted on state television.
"The army’s elite Counter-Terrorism Forces took over the Orouba district and the "industrial zone" in western Mosul, according to the Defense Ministry’s War Media Cell.
