Doha: A four-day extravaganza was held at Birla Public School (BPS) as the Kindergarten section celebrated its Annual Day and graduation ceremony from March 13 to March 16 through the event- Soiree Musicale.
It was a combination of the students of KG1 performing a musical drama followed by the KG2 students graduating. The proceedings began with the school prayer and recital of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the Qatar and Indian National Anthem.
The four days reflected the students’ hard work, competency and skills, developed over the last year. The talent flare was witnessed by distinguished guests such as First Secretary of Culture Education and Information Sachin Dinkar Shankpal, First Secretary Consular, Passport, Visa & Community Affairs S Xavier Dhanaraj , Chairman, Gope Shahani, Vice Chairperson, Maria Pakalomattom & Management Representative Nevile Lukose.
The Academic Director - Principal of the school Harish Sanduja read the annual report and spoke about education today and threw light on the need to ‘Learn to Read and Read to Learn’.
The event was carefully curated by students compering, which was valued and appreciated.
The two days hosted ‘The Musical Fairyland and Rhythmic Rhymes’, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. The young graduates shared their experiences through speeches. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments during their journey at BPS Kindergarten.
