Doha: On the 150th-day countdown for the FIFA World Cup 2022, members from Manjappada, followers of Indian football club Kerala Blasters, gathered near the countdown clock at Doha corniche, to express their support to the Indian National Football Team known as Blue Tigers.
The Qatar-based Manjappada members, donned in Indian team jerseys, had a message to the Indian team printed on a banner saying, “World cup is not a dream, but the next destination in our journey.”
The football fans were ecstatic when they found out the official handle of the Indian Football team shared their post and pictures on their social media.
The group had previously organized community viewing of their club’s matches on a big screen and can be seen at local matches wearing their team’s yellow jerseys.
