Iraqi player Saad Natiq feels honoured after signing a deal with Al Arabi.
Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Al Arabi have officially confirmed the signing of Iraqi player Saad Natiq during a press conference on Monday.
After successfully completing his medical, the centre-back joins the Dream Team from Iraqi side Al Quwa.
The 22-year-old defender can play in defence and midfield, and has already represented the Iraqi national team on a number of occasions. Having been previously linked with Markhiya, Natiq has now signed on with Al Arabi on a three-year contract.
Following the signing Natiq said: “It is a great pleasure to be part of Al Arabi. It represents a new challenge for me as a player and I hope that I find success with the team in the next season.”
“Al Arabi is a big club and has a large fan following. To play for them is a great honour for any player,” added the Iraqi international at the press conference.
The player will now travel with the team to Slovenia to take part in their pre-season training camp from July 31 to August 26.
