Doha: The Qatar Beach Volleyball Team (2) will participate in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour - Espinho Tournament which will be held in Portugal from July 28-30.
The Qatari duo Ahmed Tijan and Julio Cesar were the runners up of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Agadir Tournament, which ended in Morocco last Sunday after losing to France 0-2 in the final.
The Qatari team (1), composed of Cherif Younousse and Jefferson Pereira, emerged winner of the Kish international beach volleyball tour in Iran last year.
The Cherif-Pereira duo is currently preparing for the World Championships which will be held in Vienna from July 28 to August 6 and will be in Group B alongside Latvia, Germany and Venezuela.
