DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Monday 180.24 points or 1.79 percent to 9,898.54 points from the previous closing of 10,078.78 points.
The volume of the shares up to 9,197,640 from 4,234,432 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR460,727,352.19 from QR185,352,728.49 Sunday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 1.59 percent to QR173.40, Industries Qatar lost 1.49 percent to QR158.90, Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 1.56 percent to QR69.20 and Qatar Islamic Bank down by 2.46 percent to QR71.50.
The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 1.72 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.88 points.
The industrial sector was down 1.58 points while insurance sector fell 1.33 points. (QNA)
