MANILA: The Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 150 issued subpoenas for eight witnesses to be presented by prosecution lawyers tomorrow for the bail petition hearing of businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles who is facing a case of serious illegal detention filed by her cousin Benhur Luy.
Ordered to appear before Makati RTC Branch 150 Judge Elmo Alameda are Luy, his mother Gertrudes, Marina Sula, Rodante Berou, Mary Arlene Baltazar, Merlina Pablo Sunas, Maria Flor Vistal Villanueva and Anabelle Luy-Reario
The subpoenas were issued on the request of the prosecution panel led by State Prosecutor Christopher Garvida.
On Monday, Napoles refused to enter a plea in her arraignment in the case of serious illegal detention filed against her by her cousin Benhur Luy before the Makati Regional Trial Court branch 150.
