Mohammad Hammoudi, General Manager, Cisco Qatar, and Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, Chief New Business Officer, Ooredoo, with other Cisco and Ooredoo executives.

DOHA: Ooredoo announced yesterday it will be deploying Cisco Mobility IQ to create new services and value and superior user experiences for its customers.
First unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2015, Cisco’s Mobility IQ enables operators to simplify how data gathering, analytics, and intelligence work.
Utilising Cisco Mobility IQ, Ooredoo will be aware of what’s happening on its network and business premises at all times. With these insights, Ooredoo will be able to optimise network performance as well as use real-time insights from user activity to provide an excellent, consistent service.
“Ooredoo is a leader in network performance and we continue to improve and enhance the Ooredoo Supernet in order to deliver a superior Internet experience for our customers. The Supernet delivers Wi-Fi, mobile broadband including 4G and 4G+, and fibre services to enrich the lives of our customers, and by deploying the Cisco Mobility IQ solution, we will be able to maximise the business intelligence generated through its everyday operation. As well as enhancing our levels of service, we will be able to share this information with companies and organisations across Qatar, in order to enable them to excel in their activities,” said Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, Chief New Business Officer, Ooredoo.
Ooredoo will work with Cisco to develop new insights and innovations using Mobility IQ, generating better understanding of the incredible performance of the Ooredoo Supernet and enhancing the value delivered to consumer and business customers. Ooredoo holds a leadership position in “Internet of Things” (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine solutions in Qatar and across its footprint, and Cisco’s solution will provide important network insights in support of its efforts in this area.
“We applaud Ooredoo for leading the way for service providers not just in Qatar but throughout the Middle East region and taking a great leap forward by using Mobility IQ to transform its network and deliver new business benefits and innovations to its customers. Ooredoo and its customers now have a powerful new solution that will help them to manage, analyse and utilise their data more effectively, optimise service delivery, as well as enhance the customer offering in Qatar and beyond,” said Mohammad Hammoudi, General Manager, Cisco Qatar.
