Citigroup experts discuss global economic outlook

DOHA: Some leading economists of Citigroup yesterday held a discussion here on global macroeconomic environment, including the “Emerging Markets”, European economic outlook, asset allocation in these volatile times, cross market implications of abundant liquidity and portfolio diversification strategies, said press statement.
Citi hosted its Middle East Research Day event with the aim of providing an update on the global economic outlook and key credit events that could influence global investment strategies.
Treasurers, foreign exchange dealers and investments directors from leading public sector entities and financial institutions attended the event.
Carmen Haddad, CEO of Citibank Qatar, said: “This event was organised with the aim of providing our clients with the opportunity to have interactive discussions with our speakers on several topics related to the global investment strategies. At Citi, we invest extensive resources in providing valuable information and market insight to our clients”.
The economists and analysts who participated in the discussion include Jeremy Hale, Managing Director, Citi Investment Research and Analysis, Matt King, Managing Director and Global Head of Credit Products Strategy and Guillaume Menuet, Director and Senior Eurozone Economist.
