DOHA: Dolphin Energy Ltd has awarded three contractors for their sustained commitment to improving effective communication strategies and enhancing overall standards across Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE).
Dolphin Energy’s 7th Annual HSE Contractors’ Meeting Al Sharq Village & Spa Hotel recently brought together the company’s key contractors under the theme of “The Road to a Safer Workplace, in Partnership”. The meeting provided opportunities to share experiences and to strengthen mutual relationships for the success of all the parties involved and for the greater benefit of the broader community.
Awards and certificates of appreciation were distributed among the best performing companies. Descon Engineering LLC was awarded as Contractor of the Year 2014 while Larsen & Toubro Ltd and Schlumberger Overseas SA were selected as the runners up.
The meeting was led by Dolphin Energy’s Deputy General Manager, Mohammed Al Sulaiti, along with members of Dolphin Energy’s senior management team.
The meeting included other activities which included a poster presentation competition in which eight companies had participated.
Descon Engineering received the award and certificate for the best poster presentation followed by Anabeeb Services Co WLL in the second place and PII Pipeline Solutions (GE) in the third place for the competition.
