DOHA: Arabian MEP Contracting, a Qatari company, won six trophies in MEP Middle East Awards held recently in Dubai. The company was declared as winner in two categories and highly commended in four categories.
MEP Middle East Awards, a premier event for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) companies and professionals held its ninth edition November 18, at in Dubai which was attended by over 300 senior executives from consultancy firms and contracting companies in MEP industry across the GCC .
The event honours the achievements of the Middle East’s individuals, companies, projects, innovations and achievements that have excelled in the highly specialised building engineering services field over the course of the past one year. The nomination process was followed by short listing by a panel of jury consisting of several experts in MEP industry to select a winner and highly commended in each of the 14 categories.
The firm was adjudged as winner in Sustainable Project of the Year for its HVAC work in Solar Renewables related project and the prestigious individual performance category to the company’s CEO M Vasanth Kumar.
Highly commended runner-up were presented with trophies in four other categories including MEP Contractor of the Year, individual performance for the company’s MEP Project Manager of the Year S Rajesh, Mechanical project of the Year for its work in Medical City and HSE Initiative of the Year (Health, Safety and environment) for all its projects .
