Guests at the W Doha Hotel & Residences mixed and mingled whilst W’s talented New York ‘mixsultant’ served individually crafted mixers with local ingredients at the hotels ‘Shaken, Not Stirred’ event.  Hosted by Joseph Baroski (pictured), Global Director of Mixer Culture W Hotels Worldwide, the evening featured a James Bond themed ambience at Wahm, the hotels trend-setting pool side lounge.

As Boroski entertained guests with new and intriguing concoctions such as including Tea-tique (featuring Japanese matcha green tea, fresh lime, palm and soda shaken to a tangy froth), Rock of the Ages (crushed fresh gooseberries, pomegranate, sugarcane and popping candy), among others.Wahm’s resident DJ provided aural delights with re-mixes of popular 007 tunes.  W Doha also screened popular James Bond films on its WET Deck, providing the perfect backdrop for guests to kick back, relax and enjoy the special after-dark ambiance.

Baroski is currently visiting W Doha to share his deep passion for mixology, which stems from his days in New York where he honed his craft. Joseph’s talent has taken him to over two dozen countries with a straightforward and all important two part plan: searching the globe for what’s next, and sharing his knowledge and experience as he goes.

Baroski commented, “I see W Doha, being the premier stylish destination property in Doha, as the perfect location to introduce this original selection of exciting beverages based on freshness, style, and fun.  My hope is that people in Doha, by visiting W Doha, will be able to experience something a bit exciting and unique and may even be a bit surprised to find new possibilities in the form of a beverage, regardless of his or her usual preferences.  My opportunity to amplify the extraordinary Wahm experience demonstrates W Hotels’ dedication to offering insider access to a world of ‘wow’.  I look forward to again soon returning to Doha, clearly a major international hub in today’s connected world.”
