Gaza: A Palestinian was killed and another wounded Friday by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that a Palestinian man was killed after being shot by the Israeli army while sitting in front of the gate of Hafsa School in the northern Gaza Strip.

A child was also wounded by Israeli fire near Al Sikka Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery continued its shelling of the eastern part of Deir al Balah and the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while Israeli military vehicles advanced into the eastern part of the camp amidst gunfire and artillery shelling.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 70,942 martyrs and 171,195 wounded.

The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on October 10, following the withdrawal of the occupation army from the sites and populated areas in the sector, and the start of the return of displaced people to the northern part of the sector, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
