Doha: Under the directives of the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar has started a humanitarian aid campaign for the Syrian people within the Syrian territories.
The campaign aims to secure $7m worth of food and medical subsidy for needy people whose number is estimated at about 650,000. It covers the areas of Eastern Al Gota, Western Al Gota, Damascus and its suburbs, and Qalamoun.
