Advisory Council holds weekly session

DOHA: The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular session under its Speaker HE Mohammad bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi.

At the outset of the meeting, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen read the agenda which was then agreed upon.

The Council reviewed the decree law No. (13) for 2013 amending some provisions of the decree law No. (5) for 1965 on the identity cards.

The Council decided to refer it to the Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee to study it and submit a report thereon to the Council.

The Advisory Council also discussed the decree law No. (14) for 2013 to abolish the law of public bodies and institutions promulgated by Law No. (26) for 2004, and the decree law No. (15) for 2013 amending some provisions of Law No. (4) for 2008 on the rent of real estates.

The Council decided to refer the decree laws to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to study them and submit reports thereon to the Council.

 

Advisory Council's Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee holds meeting

The Advisory Council's Committee of Internal and Foreign Affairs held a meeting today under its rapporteur Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sulaiti.

The Committee studied the decree law No. (13) for 2013 amending some provisions of the decree law No. (5) for 1965 on the identity cards.

The Committee decided to submit its report thereon to the Advisory Council.

 

Advisory Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee holds meeting

The Advisory Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee held a meeting today under its acting rapporteur Yousif Rashid Al-Khater.

The Committee studied the decree law No. (14) for 2013 to abolish the law of public bodies and institutions promulgated by Law No. (26) for 2004, and the decree law No. (15) for 2013 amending some provisions of Law No. (4) for 2008 on the rent of real estates.

The Committee decided to submit reports thereon to the Advisory Council. (QNA)
