Tripoli--A car bomb exploded outside the Corinthia Hotel in the Libyan capital Tripoli on Tuesday, a security source told AFP.
The source had no immediate details on injuries in the blast, which occurred on the busy street where the hotel is located, near a bus station and a market.
The hotel is well-known for being frequented by foreign diplomats and visiting dignitaries as well as Libyan officials.
