Doha: Olive International School celebrated the 73rd Indian Republic Day in three of its campuses yesterday, commemorating the adoption of the Indian Constitution, which took effect on this day in 1950.
The management members, senior leadership team, and teachers participated in the flag hoisting ceremony.
The Indian National flag was unfurled by the Chairman, Davis Edakulathoor, at the Thumama campus, the Abu Hamour campus by the Vice-chairman, Rony Paul, and the Umm Salal campus by the principal, Jacob Mathew.
The teachers and the students came together on a virtual platform to add colour to this event. The students put up a graceful dance performance. The students and teachers sang patriotic songs to pay respect to all the great freedom fighters.
The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and the Principal addressed the gathering. The chief guest urged the teachers and students always to direct their actions to bring pride and glory to their nation and value the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and nation builders.
