Doha: RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) will host a series of events to raise money for charity as a key element of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. The RasGas Charity Weekend, hosted for the 8th consecutive year, will start off with a gala dinner today in which more than 350 of the company’s customers, suppliers, vendors and employees will gather to raise funds through auctions and other activities.
“RasGas’ Charity Weekend is a main contributor to Sunduk Al Kheir and is integral to our CSR programme. We are very pleased to be able to bring together so many members of our community whose generosity year after year, has made this such a huge success. This year, we are again looking forward to raising a substantial sum to provide support to deserving charitable causes,” said Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, RasGas’ Chief Executive Officer.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Qatar Paralympic Committee and the Qatar Cultural And Social Centre For the Deaf through, Sunduk Al Kheir.
