Qatar and The Netherlands share common features: Both relatively small in geography but high in aspirations, they are open to the sea, and their international trade is the basis of their wealth and economic prosperity. The relations between The Netherlands and Qatar grew and developed beyond oil and gas industry. In few years, the bilateral ties between the two countries have expanded to collaboration in several sectors such as education, sport, infrastructure, healthcare and seaport industry, DBCQ said in a statement yesterday.
Experiencing an increase in diversity of Dutch companies and affiliates operating in Qatar, the Dutch Business Council Qatar can add value as a platform to their activities by supporting new arrivals, networking through its members and sharing information.
The Council facilitates and promotes the interests of its member stakeholders, such as Dutch professionals in Qatar (resident and non-resident), Qatari nationals with general or business interests in The Netherlands, Dutch companies in Qatar and new Dutch entrepreneurs in Qatar.
The Dutch Business Council in Qatar aims to support the interests of the Dutch business community in Qatar.
