DOHA: In line with International Islamic’s (QIIB) policy of supporting nation- and community-building activities, the bank recently hosted students from Qatar Academy. The students were invited to spend a day at the bank’s main branch, where they were able to get acquainted with different aspects of Islamic banking in general, and QIIB’s functions and services in particular.
The Bank’s CEO, Abdulbasit A Al Shaibei, met the students and praised Qatar Academy for its distinct role in education and talent development.
Addressing the students, Al Shaibei said youth carried the hopes of the nation for a bright future.
The students were given the opportunity to meet and interact with the QIIB’s senior management, represented by Jamal Al Jamal, Deputy CEO, Ali Hamad Al Museifri, Head of Human Resources and General Services, Ehab Eshehawi, COO, and Masoon Al Asfar, Head of Finance, and a number of directors of the bank. The discussion centred on choosing a career path and the importance of assiduity in gaining excellence and success in life.
