Doha: A joint panel comprising the interior and external affairs committee and the services and public utilities at the Advisory Council, continued discussion of the floor request concerning the street congestion in Doha City, submitted by a number of Council members.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of Public Works Authority (Ashghal) Engineer Nasser Ali Al Mawlawi and others. Mawlawi and his team briefed the joint committee on Ashghal’s vision concerning the floor request and replied questions from panel members.
The panel decided to call the assistant under-secretary for planning affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning to attend the next meeting. QNA
