Doha: Fifty One East, the premium luxury retail chain in Qatar, was recently awarded Yamaha Music School award for achievements since the launch of the school in Qatar, at the 2014 Musikmesse Fair in Frankfurt, Germany.
The ceremony took place at a gala reception by Yamaha Music Gulf on March 12, for its regional distributors, at the Jumeirah Frankfurt Hotel.
Ziad Asmar, Executive Director, Darwish Technology, Fifty One East, and Ghayath Arakji, Product Manager, Darwish Technology, received the award from Yasuaki Gyoten, Yamaha Music Gulf Managing Director, in the presence of Masato Oike, Senior General Manager, Musical Instruments and Audio Products, and other senior managers from Yamaha Corporation, Japan.
The school in Qatar is the first and only one in the region that incorporates the Yamaha Education System, a teaching methodology that has received widespread appreciation and acceptance from parents and students.
The system reinforces trust and expertise of the Yamaha brand within the music teaching industry developed over the past 50 years.
