Stockholm---Swedish poet Tomas Transtroemer, who won the 2011 Nobel Prize for Literature, has died at the age of 83, his publishing house Bonniers said on Friday.
Transtroemer, who suffered a stroke in 1990 which affected his ability to speak, explored in his writing the relationship between our intimate inner selves and the world around us.
