Young sports enthusiasts showed off their football skills at the ‘Passport to Passion’ Challenge yesterday at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park.
Yesterday’s event kicked off a series of weekend challenges organised by Qatar Foundation in partnership with FC Barcelona to share the value of sport and education with youngsters.
Open to children aged five to 15 years, ‘Passport to Passion’ will travel to different locations in Doha to engage the local community with football-related activities and coaching sessions. All participants receive a ‘Passport to Passion’ and ‘success stamps’ as they complete each footballing activity.
The challenge will culminate in a grand finale at Qatar Foundation in late May.
The event continues today at the MIA Park. Next weekend it would be held in Aspire Park.
