Doha: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) and Community College of Qatar (CCQ) yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) designed to prepare the next generation to become professionals in the field of Health Information Management.
The MoU was signed by PHCC General Manager Dr Maryam Abdulmalik and the President of CCQ Professor Ibrahim Saleh Al Nuaimi.
The MoU aims to improve health care for the people of the State of Qatar through cooperation between and exchange of expertise and resources between them to develop, promote and support the Associate Diploma program in Applied Science in Health Information Management.
It allows students of Health Information Management program to perform the requirements of their practical training in locations specified by the PHCC under a supervisor commissioned of CCQ.
In turn, CCQ will provide high-quality education and training for the students affiliated to PHCC in order to provide it with skilled manpower.
