DOHA: As part of its commitment to support local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Qatar National Bank (QNB), country’s largest lender, has announced to hold an SME-dedicated ‘Open Day’, to provide easy financial access with innovative products, said a statement yesterday.
Starting on April 28 at Al Sharq Village & Spa Hotel, the two-day event will be open for visitors from 10am to 6pm.
QNB’s SME one stop shop event will empower commercial and industrial SMEs of various stages, to start their new businesses or expand existing ones, and will give them easy access to finance. During this event, QNB’s Relationship Managers will update entrepreneurs about QNB and Partners available services and products, and respond to all their enquiries. The event aims also to attract new SME clients, bringing together both QNB’s SME partners and existing SME clients.
QNB’s open day event will be attended by the bank’s premium partners, like: Qatar Development Bank (QDB), Enterprise Qatar (EQ), Bedaya, Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Qatar Chamber of Commerce (QCC), Ministry of Energy and Industry, and many other partners such as Qatar Building Company (QBC), Mannai Trading, Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) and Qatar Life & Medical Insurance Company (QLM).
Last year QNB launched “SME — Business Banking”, an innovative platform studded with detailed business oriented solutions that will enable all current and future business owners to expand or start a business by granting them easy, convenient and quick access to finance their small to medium businesses.
QNB provides numerous funded and unfunded products that are specially tailored to meet every SME’s needs irrespective of their sector. In addition, QNB’s Business Programme has lined-up a slew of products and business offerings that includes, but are not limited to term and call deposits, term loans, equipment finance, trade services, vehicle loans, Corporate Credit Cards, specific Project Financing and IT support (Internet banking) to ensure that their customer’s business is always ahead of competition.
