Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a traffic diversion on the West Industrial Area Street in the direction from Roundabout 23 to Roundabout 15. The other half of the street in the opposite direction was widened to allow traffic to flow in both directions without any interruption due to the ongoing works, and will become a two-way street as per the attached map.
The closure will take place starting tomorrow and will last for 8 months. This closure is part of phase one of a project to develop the Doha Industrial Area undertaken by Ashghal to increase the capacity of roads and support the traffic flow in the area, in addition to infrastructure work The Peninsula
