Colombo--Bad weather delayed the start of the third day's play in the second Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo on Saturday.
Incessant rain since early morning water-logged the covers that protected the entire field, and chances of play starting before lunch appeared unlikely.
Sri Lanka were due to start at 304-9 in reply to Pakistan's 138, a lead of 166 runs.
Pakistan won the first Test in Galle by 10 wickets to take the lead in the three-match series.
