Outlets start receiving sheep for Eid Al Adha

Doha: The Ministry of Municipality has said that local livestock farms have started supplying sheep to the outlets designated for marketing during Eid Al Adha.

This came under a joint initiative launched by the Ministry of Municipality, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Widam Food Company to encourage local production of sheep, and in continuation of government support for livestock farms in the country. As per the conditions set by the initiative, the sheep should be local breed of Al Awsasi, Al Najdi, Al Hurri and Al Arab.

They are required to be of 35 kg as minimum, healthy and free from any defect.
